You can add your favorite fonts to your brand kit so that you and your team can use the same style of lettering in your designs. Once the fonts are added to your brand kit, they appear as the top choices in the fonts list when you edit text.
Here, you can see a brand kit that has various Roboto fonts added to it:
When someone edits text on a design in your team workspace, the brand kit fonts are shown at the top of the fonts list:
Supported fonts
Photoroom has a wide range of open-source fonts that you can use. They are free to use for personal and commercial use and are compatible with Shopify.
You can also upload your own custom fonts.
Custom fonts
You can upload your own custom fonts or any other fonts that you have the license to use. This is currently only available on iPhone, iPad, and Web App versions of Photoroom. It is coming soon to Android.
Photoroom supports fonts in these formats:
OTF (OpenType Font)
.TTF (TrueType Font)
.WOFF (Web Open Font Format).
Do not upload fonts unless they are open source or you have the license to use them.
On iPhone and iPad
To add fonts to your brand kit on the iPhone and iPad version of Photoroom:

Select Your Content.
Select the workspace you want to work in, for example, a team workspace.
Select Brand kit.
Select the plus icon + for the Fonts section.
Either:
Search for the fonts you want to add to your Brand Kit.
Choose the fonts to add from the list of open-source fonts provided. When you pick a font, choose which variants of the font you want to add (light, bold, italic, and so on).
Select Upload your font and then browse to the font files to upload. or browse the list. Select the font you want and then select Save for each variant of the font you want to use (light, bold, italic, and so on).
Close the Save fonts page. You should now see the fonts in the Fonts section of your brand kit.
When you or your teammates add or edit text on a design, the Brand Kit fonts are shown at the top of the font list.
On Android
On Android, you can add any of the open-source fonts that are available in Photoroom to your brand kit. Currently, you cannot add custom fonts, but this is coming soon.
Select Your Content.
Select the workspace you want to work in, for example, a team workspace.
Select Brand kit.

Either:
Search for the fonts you want to add to your Brand Kit.

There are two ways to add fonts to your brand kit on the web app:
Select Brand Kit on the home page and then add fonts
Edit a design, select Brand Kit and then add fonts.

Add fonts to the brand kit from the home page
To add fonts to the brand kit on the web app (desktop) version of Photoroom:
Log in to Photoroom at app.photoroom.com.
Select the workspace you want to work in, for example, a team workspace.
Select Brand kit.
Select the Add + button in the Fonts section of the brand kit side panel.
Either:
Search for the fonts you want to add to your Brand Kit.
Choose the fonts to add from the list of open-source fonts provided. When you pick a font, choose which variants of the font you want to add (light, bold, italic, and so on).
Select Upload your font and then browse to the font files to upload. You will need to confirm you have the license for the font. Upload each variant of the font separately (light, bold, italic, and so on).
Close the font selection dialog.
You have now added the selected fonts to your brand kit. They are available to use for text on designs in the selected workspace.

To add fonts to the brand kit on the web app (desktop) version of Photoroom:
Log in to Photoroom at app.photoroom.com.
Select the workspace you want to work in, for example, a team workspace.
Select a design to open it in the editor.
Select Brand kit.
Select the Add + button in the Fonts section of the brand kit side panel.
Either:
Search for the fonts you want to add to your Brand Kit.
Choose the fonts to add from the list of open-source fonts provided. When you pick a font, choose which variants of the font you want to add (light, bold, italic, and so on).
