Use the tilt settings to slant a layer horizontally or vertically, altering its shape and angle. This creates a sense of perspective in your design.

Each layer has its own Horizontal and Vertical tilt settings and they are in the Transform category.
On iPhone and iPad
To use tilt on an object layer on the iPhone or iPad version of Photoroom, follow the instructions below.
Note: In the video, we are using an image that has an AI Background. The AI Background redraws itself automatically when the tilt effect is applied to create a more realistic-looking image.

On the Create page, select Your Content and choose one of your existing designs to edit.
Alternatively, you could create a new design and then edit that.
Select Layers.
Select the layer you want to edit. Each layer has its own separate Transform settings.
Select Transform to reveal the settings.
Select Horizontal or Vertical and then use the slider to change the amount of tilt. The range is from -20 to +20, where 0 is flat (no tilt).
Select Done to close the settings for that layer.
Select Done to close the Layers settings.
[Optional] Select Export. Use the export settings to share the design and download a copy of the design as an image file.
Select the cross icon ( X ) to close and save your design and to return to Your Content.
On Android
To use tilt on an object layer on the Android version of Photoroom, follow the instructions below.
On the Create page, select Your Content and choose one of your existing designs to edit.
Alternatively, you could create a new design and then edit that.
Select Layers.
Select the layer you want to edit. Each layer has its own separate Transform settings.
Select Transform to reveal the settings.
Select Horizontal or Vertical and then use the slider to change the amount of tilt. The range is from -20 to +20, where 0 is flat (no tilt).
Select Done to close the settings for that layer.
Select Done to close the Layers settings.
[Optional] Select Export. Use the export settings to share the design and download a copy of the design as an image file.
Use the back arrow to navigate back to Your Content. Photoroom will save your design automatically.
On Web App
To tilt a layer to create perspective on the Web App (desktop) version of Photoroom:
Log in to Photoroom at app.photoroom.com.
Select the workspace that you want to work in.
Select Designs and choose one of your existing designs to edit.
Alternatively, you could create a new design and then edit that.
Left-click in the gray background area of the editor to display the layers in your design in the sidebar.
Select the layer you want to edit, for example, an object layer.
Select Transform to reveal the settings.
Select Horizontal or Vertical and then use the slider to change the amount of tilt. The range is from -100 to +100, where 0 is flat (no tilt).
[Optional] Select the Download icon to download a copy of your design as an image file. Enter a name for your image file and choose its format and then select Download.
Select the Home button to save your design and return to the home page.
