Curve text on a design

Learn how to use text curvature to make arched and circular text

With the Curvature tool, you can bend your text so that it is arched. It's a quick and effective way of curving text around objects in your design and making your message stand out.


On iPhone and iPad

To curve text on the iPhone or iPad version of Photoroom:

  1. Select Content.

  2. Select the workspace you want to work in.

  3. Either:

  4. Either:

    • Select an existing text layer

    • Select Text and then enter some text.

  5. [Optional] Use gestures to reposition and resize the text box.

  6. [Optional] Use the text layer settings to style the text, for example, you can change the font style and size, add outlines, change colors, and much more.

  7. Select Look in the text layer settings.

  8. Select Curvature.

  9. Use the Curvature slider to bend the text.

  10. [Optional] Use gestures to reposition and resize the text box.

  11. Select X to exit the editor and save your design.


On Android

To curve text on the Android version of Photoroom:

  1. Select Content.

  2. Select the workspace you want to work in.

  3. Either:

    • Select an existing text layer

    • Select Text and then enter some text.

  5. [Optional] Use gestures to reposition and resize the text box.

  6. [Optional] Use the text layer settings to style the text, for example, you can change the font style and size, add outlines, change colors, and much more.

  7. Select Look in the text layer settings.

  8. Select Curvature.

  9. Use the Curvature slider to bend the text.

  10. [Optional] Use gestures to reposition and resize the text box.

  11. Select the back arrow to exit the editor and save your design.


On Web App

To curve text on the Web App version of Photoroom:

  1. Select the workspace that you want to work in.

  2. Either:

  3. Either:

    • Select an existing text layer

    • Select Add text and then enter some text.

  4. [Optional] Use the text layer settings to style the text, for example, you can change the font style and size, add outlines, change colors, and much more.

  5. Select Text curvature.

  6. Use the Text curvature slider to bend the text.

  7. [Optional] Select the download icon to download your design as an image file. Enter a name for the image file and select a file type and then select Download.

  8. Select Home to save your design and exit the editor.
