With Text Background, you can create stylish text effects like those often used on magazines and advertisements. It lets you add a background shape to your text and you can choose the color of the shape, set it to be a filled color or outline, and set its opacity (transparency).

3 phones side-by-side. Phone 1 has a design with the word jackets in text. It has a white circle text background. Phone 2 has the word jackets in an outlined slanted box. Phone 3 has the word jackets transparent with a black text background.

For example, the images above have the same text but with three different text backgrounds. Image 1 has a solid fill white circular text background. Image 2 has a white outline angled rectangle background. Image 3 has a solid black rectangle with transparent text. These are just a selection of the text backgrounds you can create in Photoroom.

Note: Text Background is currently available on the iPhone, iPad and Web App versions of Photoroom. It is coming soon to Android.
