Create a LinkedIn welcome post

Learn how to use Photoroom's LinkedIn Welcome Post feature to create a professional, on brand image for LinkedIn.

Photoroom's LinkedIn Welcome Post feature makes it easy to create introduction posts for new employees. All you have to do is upload a photo and the AI will generate a variety of options to choose from. Even better, it automatically applies logos and colors from your brand kit, reducing your editing time even more!

For each AI image, you can edit the name, company name, job title, font and colors without using the main Photoroom editor. Or if you prefer, you can open the image in the editor and tweak the design to your exact requirements.

LinkedIn welcome images is currently only available on the iPhone and iPad versions of Photoroom. It is coming to Android and the Web App soon.


On iPhone and iPad

To create a LinkedIn welcome image on the iPhone version of Photoroom:

  1. Select Content.

  2. Select the workspace you want to work in.

    This is an important step as Photoroom AI will use the brand kit for the workspace in the image design.

  3. Select AI Tools.

  4. Select LinkedIn Welcome Post.

  5. Upload a photo from your device's Camera roll or Files. Alternatively, select Camera and take a photo. You could also generate an image with AI if you wanted.

    Photoroom generates a selection of images. These can include your company logo and use your company colors and fonts (all sourced from the workspace's brand kit).

  6. Use the options at the bottom to customise the images:

    • Subject
      Use to change the size of the main photo (person) or to swap it for a different image.

    • Name
      Use to enter the name of the person you are welcoming.

    • Company
      Use to enter the name of your organization.

    • Title
      Use to enter the role of the person you are welcoming, for example, "Customer Support Agent" or "Senior Developer".

    • Color
      Use to change the primary and secondary colors used in the image. You can also change the color of the main text.

    • Font
      Use to change the typeface for the main text.

    • Dotted menu ( ... )
      Use to access the Advanced Controls:

      • Apply your brand
        Use to control whether the image uses content and settings from your brand kit.

      • Logo
        Use to control the size of your logo on the image, in relation to the full design.

  7. Select the AI image you want to use.

  8. Either:

    • Select Save to save your design and download it to your device as an image file. You can also share your design from here.

    • Select Edit to open your design in the main editor.

  9. If you opened your design in the main editor, you can use the editor settings to make changes. There are layers for the different elements of the design, each with their own settings.

    When you have finished, select Export to save your design and download it to your device as an image file. You also have the option to share it.

  10. Create a post on LinkedIn and attach your image file.
