On the Web App, you can use Width and Height settings to resize a layer. This is really useful when you need a layer to be a precise size.

A design shown in the Web App. A layer is selected. The position settings are open in the side panel and a callout box draws attention to the width and height settings.

On Web App

To resize using Width and Height:

  1. Select the workspace you want to work in.

  2. Select the design you want to edit.

Alternatively, select New design and upload an image to create a new design. If you remove the background, you will need to choose a template. For more details, see Create your first Photoroom design.

  3. Select the layer you want to resize.

  4. Open the Position panel in the layer settings.

  5. Use Width and Height to set the size in pixels. Photoroom will keep the original proportions (aspect ratio).

  6. [Optional] Use the editor settings to make further changes, for example, reposition the layer, add logos, text, etc.

  7. [Optional] Select Download to download your design as an image file. Enter a file name, choose a file type, and then select Download.

  8. Select Home to save your design and exit the editor.
