At Photoroom our mission is to make the best AI tools available to the largest number of people. Our new plans help us deliver on this mission, giving you access to the tools you love today while making new AI tools available to more people.
We’re excited to share that these changes will roll out in mid-November:
Launching a new, transparent credit system to keep track of AI Generations
Launching a new “Ultra” tier for our power users, giving them more AI generations and more batch exports.
Removing per-batch automation limitations (e.g. 50 images per Batch for Pro) and replacing them with Batch export limits
Making collaboration in teams completely free
A Transparent AI Credit System for generations
You’ve asked for more clarity on how AI usage is counted — and we listened.
We’re introducing a new AI Credit system that gives you two separate pools of credits to generate images and videos.
Image Credits – for AI image tools like AI Backgrounds, Virtual Models, and Edit with AI.
Video Credits – for AI video tools like animations or motion clips.
You’ll now be able to see your usage directly in your settings, shown as a simple percentage bar indicating how much of your monthly allowance you’ve used.
Credits reset automatically based on your billing cycle:
Weekly for weekly plans.
Monthly for monthly and yearly plans.
💡 AI Credits apply only to AI generations — exports are not limited.
New “Ultra” Plans for Power Users
For our most active creators and scaling businesses, we’re launching Photoroom Ultra — a new tier with higher usage allowances and advanced capabilities.
Ultra plans include:
Larger AI generation and export limits.
Expanded batch export quotas.
Ultra is available exclusively on web via Stripe, but benefits apply across all platforms. Ultra gives growing sellers the flexibility they need to scale their visual workflows with Photoroom.
Monthly Limits for Automated Exports
We’re also updating how Batch exports work. Every plan will now include a clear monthly quota of Batch exports.
Export quotas reset monthly (or weekly for weekly plans).
All paid users will be able to edit up to 100 images per Batch, compared to 50 per Batch today.

This ensures fair access to automation tools for everyone while allowing us to keep improving their speed and reliability.
Manual Editing and Exports Remain Unlimited
All manual editing and single-image exports in Photoroom remain unlimited* — exactly as before.
* fair use limitations apply to prevent hackers and bots from abusing the system.
Free Seats for Teams
Collaboration should be simple — and free.
You can now invite up to 50 teammates at no extra cost to your workspace. Additional seats don’t increase credits: each team shares the same pool of AI and export credits.
Adding teammates helps you move faster — not pay more.
One Space = One Subscription
Each subscription is now tied to a single team space. To prevent abuse of our systems, subscribers must work within the team that their subscription is tied to.
Over the past years we’ve noticed an increase of fraudulent activity that leverages a loophole in how we allocated entitlements to people. These loopholes will now close.
To make the transition as smooth as possible, we have built:
