How to select images in Batch (Web App)

Learn how to select a single image, group of images, or all images in Batch on the Photoroom Web App.

When you use Batch on the Web App version of Photoroom, the images in your batch are shown in a grid. To edit the images, you need to select which images you want your changes to affect. You can select an individual image, a group of images, or all images.

Select an individual image

To select an individual image, click on it in the grid. A purple-blue box appears around the edge of selected images.

Note: If there are no images selected at all, Photoroom will apply any changes to the entire batch.


Select a group of images

To select any images in the grid:

  1. Press and hold the Ctrl key (Windows) or the Cmd key (macOS).

  2. Select each image you want to include. Purple-blue boxes appear around the selected images.

  3. Release the Ctrl key or Cmd key.

To select multiple images that appear next to each other in the Batch grid:

  1. Position the cursor next to the first image you want to select. Make sure the cursor is next to the image, not on it.

  2. Press and hold the left mouse button and drag over the images you want to select. Purple-blue boxes appear around the selected images.

  3. Release the mouse button to finish your selection.

Note: Alternatively, you can press and hold the Shift key and select images that are next to each other in the grid.


Select all images

To select all images:

  1. Select any image in the grid.

  2. Select Select all on the toolbar.


Deselect all images

To deselect all images:

  1. Select any image in the grid.

  2. Select Deselect all on the toolbar.

    ​Note: Deselect all is only available if you currently have all images in the batch selected.​

Alternatively, you can click any empty part of the canvas.
