If the images in your Batch appear too dim, you can open them in the main editor and brighten them using the Improve Lighting feature.

Before shows a red top that is dim. After shows the same top but much lighter and more vivid red.

To do this, open the main editor from the Batch Editor. When you exit, you’ll have the option to apply the lighting improvements to all images in the batch.

Steps (Android)

  1. Create a new batch, resume a previous batch, or work with the batch you already have open.

  2. Select a dim image to open it in the main editor.

  3. Select the foreground layer and activate Improve lighting to enhance the light in the image.

  4. Exit the editor to return to your batch.

Note: To make the background layer lighter, select the background and then select Adjust and use the Brightness setting.

Learn how to use Improve lighting

Improve lighting for batch images works the same way as editing individual images outside of a batch. Learn how it works in Improve the lighting of a design (Android). The important difference in Batch is that that when you exit the main editor, Photoroom asks whether you want to apply your changes to all images.
