Photoroom supports a range of different file formats, depending on whether you are:
Importing an image to use as the starting point for a design or as an input for AI features such as Virtual Model.
Exporting (downloading) a design to save on your device or to use in other applications.

Note: The AVIF option is only available if your browser can encode AV1 via WebCodecs. Today that covers Chrome, Edge, Opera, Arc, Dia, Brave, and other Chromium-based browsers. Firefox and Safari users won't see the option until Mozilla and Apple release an update that can encode AV1.
