Photoroom’s Edit with AI feature lets you describe the changes you want to make using a text prompt. Photoroom then generates a new image based on your prompt, selected options, and the original image.
Edit with AI is useful for fine-tuning images and creating variants. For example, here we used Edit with AI to change the collar shape on T-shirt images.
Availability
Pro: Use Edit with AI on one image at a time in Batch.
Max and Ultra: Use Edit with AI on multiple images at once.
Each generation uses AI credits.
Steps (Android)
To use Edit with AI to change images in a batch, follow the instructions below. Some stages are optional.

Stage 1: Access the Edit with AI tool in Batch
Start a new batch or resume a previous one, see Create a batch of images (Android).
Select AI Tools.
Select Edit with AI.
Important: Make sure you select AI Tools > Edit with AI from inside the Batch editor. If you're outside the Batch editor, the standalone Edit with AI feature will open instead.
Stage 2: Use the Edit with AI settings
Use the Edit with AI settings to give Photoroom instructions:
Select the Batch image(s) you want to edit.
Use the prompt to describe the changes you want.
Choose a Size.
Choose whether the Brand description should influence the prompt.
Note: The Brand description is stored in the Brand kit for the Space. If you edit the Brand description in Batch, it will affect the Brand description across the Space.
Select the arrow button to generate.
Each generation uses AI credits.
Photoroom generates a new version of each selected image based on your prompt and settings.
Tip: Be specific in your prompt (for example, “change shirt color to red” or “make fabric look smoother”) to get more accurate results. For more guidance, see Write more effective prompts for AI.
Stage 3: Edit your Batch images
The editing steps in this stage are optional.
Select an image to open it in the main editor.
Use the main editor to make changes, such as adding text or graphics.
Select the back arrow to exit the editor and return to the Batch editor.
Choose whether you want to apply your edits to all images or only the image(s) you edited (see How does "Apply recent edits to all" work?).
Tip: To delete a Batch image, select the context menu ( ... ) at the top of the screen and choose Select images. Then select the image you want to remove and select Delete.
Stage 4: Export your images
When you are finished editing:
Select Export images.
Select Save to Gallery to save the images to your photo gallery.
Select Share to share the images with other people.
Select X and then the back arrow to exit the Batch editor.
