This article is for users who have a personal Claude account that is not part of a Claude Team or Enterprise plan.
To use the Photoroom connector with your personal Claude account, you first need to add the connector. This is a one-time set up.
Requirements
To use the Photoroom connector with a personal Claude account, you need:
Photoroom account with Admin role for a Space
If you are not an Admin for a Space, you can ask an Admin to change your role.
API enabled for the Space in Photoroom
Claude personal account (paid, not free).
We also recommend that you have AI credits available. Buy a suitable plan at https://www.photoroom.com/api/pricing.
Steps
To connect the Photoroom connector to your personal Claude account:
Log in to Photoroom at app.photoroom.com.
Select the Space that has the Photoroom API enabled.

If access cannot be authorized automatically, you will be redirected to log in to Photoroom. When the log in is successful, Photoroom should handle the authentication automatically.
Photoroom is now available as a tool in your Claude conversations.
To enable Photoroom for a conversation:
Select the + button at the bottom left of the chat interface
Select Connectors.
Find Photoroom and toggle it on.
Alternatively, you can ask Claude to use the Photoroom MCP as part of your prompt.
You can now use Photoroom directly in Claude, see Generate images using Claude and Photoroom.
