Setting up the Photoroom connector on a Claude Team or Enterprise plan is a two-stage process:
An Owner or Primary Owner adds the connector to the organisation. This is a one-time step that makes the connector available to the whole team.
Each team member then connects their own account to start using it.
Follow the instructions in the sections below to set up the connector.
Requirements
To use the Photoroom connector with Claude Team or Enterprise, you need:
Photoroom account with Admin role for a Space
If you are not an Admin for a Space, you can ask an Admin to change your role.
API enabled for the Space in Photoroom
Claude Team or Enterprise account.
We also recommend that you have API credits available. Buy a suitable plan at https://www.photoroom.com/api/pricing.
Add the connector to your organization
The Owner or Primary Owner needs to add the Photoroom connector to your organization. This is a one-time setup step that makes the connector available to all members.
Note: To learn about the Owner and Primary Owner roles, see the official Claude documentation: Roles and permissions.
Steps
To add the Photoroom connector to your organization in Claude:
Sign in to Claude as the Owner or Primary Owner.
Select Organization settings
For help finding Organization settings, ask Claude. They are only available to Admins, Owners, and Primary Owners.
Select Connectors.
Select Custom and then Web.
Enter the remote MCP server URL:
https://mcp.photoroom.com/mcp
Select Add to finish.
The Photoroom connector will now appear in your organisation's connector list. Your team members can connect to it individually.
Note: If the Claude UI has changed, ask Claude for instructions on how to add a connector. The process should be similar and you will need to use the same Photoroom remote MCP server URL.
Connect to Photoroom as a team member
When an Owner or Primary Owner has added the Photoroom connector, other team members can use it.
Steps
To use the Photoroom connector, add it to your account:
Sign in to Claude.
Select Customize.
Select Connectors.
Find Photoroom in the list and select Connect.
Follow the on-screen prompts to authenticate your account.
To enable Photoroom for a conversation:
Select the + button at the bottom left of the chat interface
Select Connectors.
Find Photoroom and toggle it on.
If Photoroom does not appear, the Owner or Primary Owner has not added the connector yet.
You can now use Photoroom directly in Claude, see Generate images using Claude and Photoroom.
Note: As an alternative to enabling Photoroom for a conversation, ask Claude to use Photoroom MCP in your prompt.
