After connecting Photoroom to your store, you will see the Products screen. This is the hub of Photoroom for Shopify. From here, you can add products, edit product images, and access the product catalog editor.
This article provides a brief overview of the Product catalog screens you will use to edit and manage your product listings. Understanding what each screen does will help you set up listings more quickly.
Products (Android)
Products displays the products in your store. Photoroom shows each product in a list. The featured product image is shown as a thumbnail image.
From Products, you can:
Create a new product listing
Select a product to see its images (see Product images, below).
Product images (Android)
Select a product to display its images in the product editor. These images are either already included in the product listing in Shopify or will be added to it when you next publish.
Use the context menu at the top to:
Add images
Select one or more images for saving or deleting
Edit the Product info
View the product on Shopify
Save images
Change the grid size for the product images.
Use the toolbar to:
Apply templates to the product images
Resize the product images
Use AI tools to generate new, AI-enhanced images
Apply AI-generated shadow effects
Apply backgrounds, including AI-generated backgrounds.
Open an product image in the main editor
If you tap on an individual product image, it opens in the main Photoroom editor. This is where you can make changes using features that are not available from the product catalog editor, such as:
Editing layers
Adding graphics
Adding text.
After editing an image, you can choose whether to apply the changes to the other product images.
Now that you know where your product images appear, you can start working with them. See the "Related articles" for links to articles with instructions.
