Cancel your subscription

Looking to leave Photoroom? Learn how to cancel your subscription.

You want to end your subscription or free trial? Sure, that's no problem, but we're sorry to see you go. Hopefully, you've enjoyed your time using Photoroom and will use it again in the future. We'd love to have you back.

Please cancel your subscription using the same platform that you used to subscribe.

Important!

If you cancel on the wrong platform, your subscription is not canceled. You will continue to be billed as normal.

Like other apps, we cannot cancel your subscription on your behalf. You have to cancel it yourself from the same place that you purchased your subscription.


Cancel from the Apple App Store

You can cancel your subscription from the App Store, but only if you originally subscribed from the App Store. If you cancel on the wrong platform, your subscription is not canceled. You will continue to be billed as normal.

Important! Apple does not allow Photoroom staff to access subscriptions made from the App Store. You have to cancel those yourself. If you need help, please contact Apple support.

Before you cancel:

Be aware that if you cancel and decide to resubscribe later, the price may have increased. When you resubscribe, you will need to pay the current price for Photoroom.

To cancel your Photoroom subscription:

  1. Log in to Photoroom on your iPhone or iPad.

  2. Select the workspace switcher to reveal the Switch team menu.

  3. Select Manage account.

  4. Select Manage subscription.

  5. Select Cancel subscription.

  6. If prompted, enter your reasons for canceling and then confirm you want to cancel. Your device will then show the Subscriptions screen on your iPhone or iPad.

  7. Select the Photoroom subscription.

  8. Select Cancel Subscription. If you don't see Cancel Subscription, the subscription is already canceled and will not renew.

When you have canceled:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.

  2. Select your name.

  3. Select Subscriptions.

    If you don't see Photoroom in the list, it means you're not subscribed.

    If you see Photoroom, select it to get the subscription status. An active subscription suggests that you didn't cancel the subscription correctly or you may have a separate App Store account that is subscribed to Photoroom.

    Note: If you cancel a free trial of the Pro or Max plan, you will continue to have Pro/Max access until the free trial period ends.


Cancel from the Google Play Store

You can cancel your subscription from the Google Play Store, but only if you originally subscribed from the Google Play Store. If you cancel on the wrong platform, your subscription is not canceled. You will continue to be billed as normal.

Before you cancel:

Be aware that if you cancel and decide to resubscribe later, the price may have increased. When you resubscribe, you will need to pay the current price for Photoroom.

To cancel your Photoroom subscription:

  1. Follow Google's instructions to cancel your subscription.

    Alternatively, you can select this self-help link: Cancel a Google Play subscription and follow Google's instructions.

  2. Check that your subscription has been canceled:

    1. Open the Google Play app.

    2. Select the profile icon in the corner.

    3. Select Payments and subscriptions

    4. Select Subscriptions.

      If you don't see Photoroom in the list, it means you're not subscribed.

      If you see Photoroom, select it to get the subscription status. An active subscription suggests that you didn't cancel the subscription correctly or you may have a separate Play Store account that is subscribed to Photoroom.

      Note: If you cancel a free trial of the Pro or Max plan, you will continue to have Pro/Max access until the free trial period ends.


Web App

You can cancel your subscription from the Web App, but only if you originally subscribed from the Web App or Photoroom website. If you cancel on the wrong platform, your subscription is not canceled. You will continue to be billed as normal.

Before you cancel:

If you subscribed to Photoroom on the Web App:

Note: The payment details screen has been removed from this video. When you subscribe, you will see your payment details and a Cancel subscription button.

  1. Select the workspace menu in the top corner.

  2. Select Your profile.

  3. Select Your billing.

  4. Find your subscription and select Manage your subscription.
    The payment page loads and you can see your payment details.

  5. Select Cancel subscription.

  6. For confirmation, select Cancel subscription.

  7. [Optional] Let us know why you have chosen to cancel.

  8. Use the browser's back button to navigate back to the Web App.

  9. Check the status of your subscription:

    1. Select the workspace menu.

    2. Select Your profile.

    3. Select Your billing.

    4. View your subscription. It should show that your subscription has been canceled. In the case of free trials, it will show that your subscription will finish at the end of the free trial.
