Automatic Cut
This is the default option. All images imported in PhotoRoom go through the regular cut algorithm to remove the background of photos. It is made to understand whether it's a photo of a person or of a product. Note that the algorithm is often updated and improved.
HD Cut: Person/Object/Standard
This is our HD cut out algorithm. This is better at detecting details, where the background and object meet. However, remember that artificial intelligence can sometimes make mistakes.
Person HD is specialized to cut out a person and is automatically selected if you're a PRO and a person is detected in the photo. For instance, it's great for hair.
Object HD is specialized to cut out objects and is automatically selected if you're a PRO and an object is detected in the photo.
Standard HD is a bit different than the others. Sometimes it's great at defining the edges and worth trying if the first two didn't work.
Original image, doesn't do any cutout.
Manual
Tap "Edit Cutout" and then manual to manually edit the current cut out. You can restore or erase parts of the mask that are wrong. You can zoom in by pinching the image.
