With Photoroom's Batch Mode, you can apply changes to many images all at once. For example, you could create a "batch" of 20 product images and give them all the same textured white background for a professional look.

For best results, use images that have similar objects of a similar size and position. When you have made changes to a batch of images, use the Export feature to save them or share them (see Export a design). The batch images are not saved in Your Designs.

To learn how to use Batch Mode, select the link for your device:

Note: Batch Mode on the Web App only supports making bulk edits using AI Backgrounds and AI Shadows. For other edits, such as regular backgrounds, create a Template and apply that to multiple images instead.

On iPhone and iPad

To use Batch Mode to edit multiple images at once and then export them:

(Video shows Photoroom on iPhone)

  1. On the Create page, select Batch.

  2. Select Start New Batch.

  3. Select all of the images you want to edit and then select Add images.

  4. Choose a Template for your images.

  5. [Optional] Use Resize to set a size and orientation for your images.

  6. [Optional] Use Position to set the alignment of the main object in your images.

  7. Select an image to edit it.

  8. Use the editing features to change the image. For example, to change the background, select Layers and then select Background and then Replace. Choose a background image and then select Done.

  9. Either:

    • Select the back arrow icon < and then select Apply to batch. This will make the same changes to all of the images in the batch.

    • Select Next to display the next image in the batch. This way allows you to edit each image manually.

  10. When you have finished making your changes, select Back ( < ) to return to the Batch page.

  11. At the prompt, select Apply to all. Photoroom will apply your most recent changes to all of the images in the batch (see note at end of procedure).

  12. Select Export images to save your images. There are options to save to your gallery or files, share, export to web, and more. For details, see Export a design.

Note: When you use Apply to all, Photoroom finds the batch image that you edited most recently. It then applies the same changes to all of the other images in the batch.

For example, let's say you edit image 1, 2, and 3 and then apply the changes to all images. Photoroom applies the changes you made to image 3 to every image in the batch. The individual changes you made to image 1 and 2 are lost, as they also get the same changes as image 3.

Tip: Did you miss the Apply to all prompt? To display it again, select an image in the batch to edit it, and then select the Back icon.
