If you are a new user, you will need to create a Photoroom account before you can get started.
On iPhone and iPad
To create a Photoroom account on an iPhone or iPad:

Download the Photoroom app for free from the App Store.
Run the Photoroom app.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the startup process. The startup process can vary, but may ask you to do one or more of the following:
Accept, customize or reject cookies.
Tell us how you heard about Photoroom
Add your name.
Work through an introduction (first time only), where you upload a photo and Photoroom removes its background.
Buy a subscription by choosing a plan and a payment schedule.
If you don't want to buy a subscription at this stage, select Continue until you have to choose a payment schedule such as weekly or yearly and then select X in the top corner.
Export a photo.
Log into Photoroom to create an account.
Either:
Select Sign in to Photoroom when you try to export an image as part of the introduction.
Select Content and then select an option to create an account. You can choose from:
Continue with Apple
Continue with Facebook
Continue with Google
Other options (Use this option to log in with email).
Follow the on-screen instructions and provide the information that is requested. You will need to log in to the service you have chosen, such as Google, or provide an email address.
If you use an email address, you should be sent a magic code for verification. If you don't receive the magic code, see magic link has not arrived.
When Photoroom asks, enter a name for your profile.
When you log in, you get either a:
Personal Space linked to the subscription you purchased during the sign-up process.
Note: If you can't access the subscription features in your Space, see Unable to access subscription features.
Personal Space that is on the Free plan. This only applies if you did not buy a subscription. The Free plan has has limited access to features and much lower AI credits and export limits.
To enjoy the extra features and benefits of a paid plan, you will need to buy a subscription for the Space. You can either:
Upgrade your subscription for your Personal Space
Create a team to get an additional Team Space and then upgrade that Space.

On Android
To create a new account:
Download the Photoroom app for free from the Play Store.
Run the Photoroom app.
