When you are editing an image, you may want to move an object in front of another object. For example, if you have light text on a light background, you could add a darker box and then move that behind the text.

To move objects in front of other objects:

Video shows moving objects in front of other objects on Android.

  1. Open an image from Your Designs.

  2. Look at the order of the settings.

The background is the bottom layer and then each object is stacked in order on top of it. The settings at the top of the list are in the foreground.

Photoroom image editor. Shows the settings for each object in a list. Background is at the bottom of the list.

Here, "Background" is the deepest layer (1), "Product" (2) is the next level up, "Graphics" is the next level up, and "Kettlebells" are at the top level.

  3. Drag-and-drop the object settings to re-order the objects.

This works in the same way on iPhone, iPad, Android devices, and the Web App.
