On the Android version of Photoroom, you can add an image layer to your favorites. You can then insert that image layer into other designs. It's a quick and easy way to use the same image or graphic consistently in a range of designs.

For example, you could have a sale graphic as a favorite asset and then you could add that to some of your product images.

two android phones, side by side. Phone 1 shows a sale graphic being added to favorites in Photoroom. Phone 2 shows a product image with the sale graphic added from favorites.

Note: On the iPhone, iPad, and web app version of Photoroom you can use the brand kit instead. It allows you to add backgrounds, foreground layers, text layers, and logos, which you can then use in other designs (see Brand kit).

On Android

To add a favorite image to a design on the Android version of Photoroom:

(Video shows Photoroom on Android)

  1. On the Create page, select Your Content and then select the design that you want to edit.

Alternatively, you could create a new design and then edit that.

  2. Select Insert.

  3. Scroll down to Favorites and select the Scans icon.

Insert options include a Favorites section. In the Favorites section, there is a Scans section which contains favorite images.

  4. Choose the favorite image that you want to add to your design.

Photoroom adds your favorite image at the size and position that were set when it was saved as a favorite. If needed, you can change its size and position in your new design. The changes will only affect your new design.

A design that shows a t-shirt. A 50 per cent off sale tag graphic has been added to the corner of the image.

Tip: You can add a favorite image to a design, change its size and position, and then save it as a new favorite by selecting the star icon at the top of its settings.
