Accidentally deleted a favorite? Find out how to quickly recreate it.

If you accidentally delete a favorite image or text from your favorites, you can quickly recreate it. But this is only possible if both of the following are true:

  • The favorite exists on another design

  • The other design is available from the Designs in Your Content.

If you do not have the deleted favorite on another image, there is no easy way to recreate it. You will need to import the original version again or create a new version and then add it to your favorites.

Note: The Favorites feature is only available on Android. It has been replaced by the brand kit on iPhone, iPad, and the web app. To learn more, see Brand kit.

On Android

  1. Select Your Content.

  2. Select the workspace that contains the design that uses the layer.

  3. Select a design that contains the layer that you want to restore to your favorites.

  4. Select the layer that you want to restore to your favorites.

  5. In the layer settings, select the star icon. Photoroom adds the layer to your favorites.

close-up of a layer's settings. The star icon next to the layer name is purple, which means it has been added to your favorites.
