Permission for Photoroom to store data

Learn how the Allow PhotoRoom to use your data to enhance the product option affects storage of your data.

We would like to use your designs to help us improve Photoroom. Your designs can give us important data about image size, which features are being used, and how you work with Photoroom.

Photoroom has an option for granting us permission to store your data on our servers. If you prefer, you can opt out and we will not store your data.

To learn how to grant or deny permission to store data, select the link for your device:

Note: If granted permission to store data, Photoroom stores your designs on our servers. We do not store batches.


On iPhone and iPad

If you are using an iPhone or iPad, follow these instructions to set the permission for Photoroom to store data:

  1. On the Create page, select Your Content.

  2. Select your profile avatar in the top corner.

  3. Select Data control.

  4. Use the Improve Photoroom with my data slider to control whether Photoroom has permission to store your data. There is also an option to view our Terms and conditions.


On Android

If you are using an Android device, follow these instructions to set the permission for Photoroom to store data:

  1. On the Create page, select Your Content.

  2. Select Preferences.

  3. Scroll down to the Data & Privacy section.

  4. Use the Allow Photoroom to use your data to enhance the product slider to control whether Photoroom has permission to store your data.


On Web App

If you are using the Web App (desktop), follow these instructions to set the permission for Photoroom to store data:

  1. On the Create page, select your profile avatar in the top corner.

  2. Select Your profile.

  3. Scroll down to the Terms & conditions section.

  4. Use the Improve Photoroom with my data slider to control whether Photoroom has permission to store your data. There is also an option to view our Terms and conditions.
