Make a layer more or less vivid with saturation

Learn how to make a layer's colors more or less vivid with the saturation feature

With the Saturation feature, you can make your colors pop with intensity or you can calm them down with a more muted look.

In the images below:

  • Image 1 has less saturation on the jacket layer, so it has more muted colors.

  • Image 2 has no saturation and is shown using the original colors it had when it was imported.

  • Image 3 has higher saturation on the jacket layer, giving the jacket far more intense colors.

To change the saturation of a layer, open your design in the editor and then select the layer you want to edit. Open the Adjust settings and then use the Saturation option to make the layer's colors more or less intense. For detailed instructions, see Adjust the visual properties of a layer.
