Create a team

Learn how to create a team in Photoroom

To work on designs with your colleagues, create a team. When you create a team, you get a Team Space, which is a shared area that you and your teammates can use together.

In a Team Space you can see each other's designs, provide feedback and share the same assets. It's like working together in a studio!

Note: If you invite people to join your Personal Space, it will become a Team Space automatically.


On iPhone and iPad

To create a team:

  1. Select the Space menu.

  2. Select Create a team.

  3. Select Continue.

  4. Enter a Team name.

  5. Select Create team.

  6. [Optional] Invite people to join your team. You can either:

    1. Enter an email address

    2. Select Invite with link to create a link that you can send using a messaging app, email, etc.

  7. Select Send invites if you are inviting people to join or select Skip to continue without invites.

  8. Select Continue.

You are now the Team Admin for the Team Space.

By default, your new Team Space is a Free Space. You can upgrade it to a paid plan if you want access to more features and higher limits. As the Team Admin, you are responsible for paying for all team member seats in your Team Space (see Teams billing).

Note: To upgrade a team's plan, you need to use the Web App (see Upgrade a Photoroom team).


On Android

To create a team:

  1. Select Content.

  2. Select the Space menu.

  3. Select Create a team.

  4. Select Continue.

  5. Enter a Team name.

  6. Select Create team.

  7. [Optional] Invite people to join your team. You can either:

    1. Enter an email address

    2. Select Invite with link to create a link that you can send using a messaging app, email, etc.

  8. Select Send invites if you are inviting people to join or select Skip to continue without invites.

  9. Select Continue.

You are now the Team Admin for the Team Space.

By default, your new Team Space is a Free Space. You can upgrade it to a paid plan if you want access to more features and higher limits. As the Team Admin, you are responsible for paying for all team member seats in your Team Space (see Teams billing).

On Web App

To create a team:

  1. Select the Space menu.

  2. Select Create a team.

  3. Select Create a team.

  4. Enter a Team name.

  5. Select Create team.

  6. [Optional] Invite people to join your team. You can either:

    1. Invite from Google. Select a Google account to invite from the list.

    2. Select Invite via link to create a link that is copied to your clipboard. You can paste it into email, messaging apps, etc.

    3. Enter an email address

  7. Select Send invites if you are inviting people to join or select Maybe later to continue without invites.

You are now the Team Admin for the Team Space.

By default, your new Team Space is a Free Space. You can upgrade it to a paid plan if you want access to more features and higher limits. As the Team Admin, you are responsible for paying for all team member seats in your Team Space (see Teams billing).
