Show Product Catalog images on Virtual Models (Web App)

How to use the Product Catalog and Virtual Model features to show clothing on models in product listings. Web App.

Show your Product Catalog clothing on Virtual Models without the cost of a photoshoot. Generate model images individually or in bulk, so shoppers can easily see how your products look when worn.

Product Catalog requires Max or Ultra plan to export and publish.

Requires AI credits.


Steps (Web App)

To generate Virtual Model images for your Product Catalog:

  1. Select any of the product's images to open the Product Catalog Editor.

  2. Select the images you want to use. Photoroom will generate a Virtual Model image for each image you select.

    To learn about selecting, see How to select images using the Product Catalog (Web App).

  3. Either:

    • Select AI Tools and then Virtual Model.

    • Select Virtual Model on the pill bar above a selected image.

  4. Use the Virtual Model settings to choose what you want:

    • Model

    • Pose

    • Background

    • Size

    • Brand style on or off

    • [Optional] Enter a description of what you want in the image.

  5. Select Generate.
    Generating images costs AI credits.

  6. [Optional] Make additional changes using the Product Catalog Editor.

  7. When you have finished editing, publish your changes to Shopify.


Note: The Virtual Model settings are the same as the settings for the standalone Virtual Model tool.
