With Photoroom's Product Catalog Editor, you can generate Ghost Mannequin images for multiple clothing products at once. They give your clothing a more 3D look, without showing a model or visible mannequin.

Image shows 2 flat lay t-shirts and 2 ghost mannequin images of the t-shirts.

Availability

  • Pro users can use Ghost Mannequin on individual product images.

  • Max and Ultra users can use Ghost Mannequin on multiple product images at once.

  • Product Catalog requires Max or Ultra plan to export and publish.

  • Each generation uses AI credits.

Steps (Web App)

To generate Ghost Mannequin image for your Product Catalog:

Stage 1: Access the Ghost Mannequin tool

  1. Select any of the product's images to open the Product Catalog Editor.

  2. Select AI Tools.

  3. Select Ghost Mannequin.

Alternatively, you can select a product image to display its pill menu. Select More tools and then Ghost Mannequin.

Stage 2: Use the Ghost Mannequin settings

Use the Ghost Mannequin settings to give Photoroom instructions:

  1. Select the product images you want as ghost mannequin images.

To learn about selecting, see How to select images using the Product Catalog (Web App).

  2. Choose a Size for the generated image.

  3. Choose whether the brand style description should influence the AI.

  4. Use the prompt to describe the image you want, for example, "show clothing from an angle, camera to the right".

  5. Select Generate.
    Generating images costs AI credits.

Photoroom generates a Ghost Mannequin version of each selected image based on your settings.

Note: The Ghost Mannequin settings are the same as the standalone Ghost Mannequin tool.

Stage 3: Edit your product images

The editing steps in this stage are optional. Features that use AI to generate an image require AI credits.

You can edit your product images in several ways:

  • Use the Product Catalog Editor options in the side menu

  • Select a product image and use the options available from its pill menu

  • Open an image in the main editor to make edits that are unavailable in the Product Catalog Editor, such as adding text and graphics.

To learn how to use these tools, see the Edit Product Catalog images articles.

Stage 4: Publish

When you have finished editing:

  1. Use the Shopify sidebar to check the listing score.

Follow any recommendations to improve the score, such as adding more images.

  2. Check the SEO filenames and Alt text for your images.

Photoroom generates them automatically, but you can also edit them manually or generate new ones.
