Photoroom's Ghost Mannequin tool lets you create product images that show clothing on an invisible model. It's an effective way of showing how a product looks when worn, without the distraction of a human body or mannequin.

In this article, we provide a general overview of the tool and explain its settings.

3 images. Image 1 shows a T-shirt on a hanger. Images 2 and 3 show the T-shirt on a ghost model from different angles.

How it works:

  1. You provide a source image or choose one that's already in Photoroom.

  2. You use the Ghost Mannequin settings to set your preferences, such as the quality and size.

  3. Photoroom generates an image based on the source image and the chosen settings.

  4. You can then use the generated image as is or you can open it in the main editor to make further changes. You can also generate variations, if needed.
