When you generate an image using an AI tool, the image has a context menu, also called a "tile menu". It contains options for generating variations, improving the image , and more. The options vary depending on the type of AI image and how it has been generated.

In this article, we provide a summary of the options you may see with links to articles that explain how to use them.

Note: If a particular option is not shown on your image's context menu, it is because that option is not supported for that type of image.

Edit with AI

Use to edit the image by describing changes in a text prompt. Photoroom will then generate a new image using the original image and your prompt as the starting point.

Other angles

This option has been replaced by Variation, see below.

Variation

Use to generate a variation of an AI image. Variation is designed to create another image that looks like it was part of the same photoshoot as the original AI image.

For more details, see:

Generate video

Use to generate a short video (MP4) based on an AI image. When selected, Photoroom opens the Video generator tool and adds the AI image as the source image automatically.

Note: Generate video only appears on the Web App. For iOS and Android, there is a Video option in the final stage options.

Share image

Use to copy a shareable link to the image. The copy is added to your device's clipboard so that you can paste it into messages and emails.

When someone receives a link, they can select it to view the image.

For details, see:

Fix product

Use to fix details that the AI has interpreted incorrectly, such as details of logos, product features, or text. You select the area to fix and then Photoroom repairs it based on the original image that was used to generate the AI image.
