Use the Variation feature to generate different versions of an AI image. It produces images that are different, but look like part of the same photoshoot.
Note: The Variation feature was previously called Other angles.

Steps (Web App)
To create a variation of an AI image:
Log in at app.photoroom.com.
Select the Space you want to work in.
Select AI tools.
Select the AI tool you want to use, for example, Virtual Model.
Either:
Use the AI tool to generate a new image.
Use an existing AI image.
Hover the cursor over the generated image to reveal its context menu ( ... ).
Select Variation.
Photoroom generates another version of the AI image, making subtle changes, such as changing the viewing angle or altering the pose of a model.
Select the image and download it. You can also use the final stage options to make further changes.
Troubleshooting
Variation is based on an older version of the AI image
This can happen when you have generated an AI image and then used Edit with AI to make further edits. The AI may use details from the original AI image instead of those from the edited AI image.
Solution:
Download the image that is the result of the Edit with AI changes. Then open the standalone Edit with AI tool and upload the image as a source. Use the prompt to describe a minor change and generate an image. Use Variation on the resulting image.
More control over the Variation result
The Variation feature produces a random result based on the original image. This is by design. If you need more control over the result, try downloading the AI image and then using it as a source image in one of the other AI tools.
