Turn a photo or design into a short promotional video using Photoroom's Video Generator. It's ideal for creating videos for social media posts, product demos, and marketing visuals.
For added fidelity, you can upload 4 product images, each showing the product from a different angle. This helps the AI to produce even more accurate videos.

Steps (Web App)
To create a video using Photoroom's Video Generator, follow the steps below.
(Video is edited to reduce AI video generation time.)
As Video Generator includes several optional features, the instructions below are split into stages.
Stage 1: Access the Video Generator tool
The Video Generator tool is available from the AI tools menu for new designs and from context menus for existing designs and AI-generated images.
From the AI tools menu:
Log in at app.photoroom.com.
Select the Space you want to work in.
Select AI tools.
Select Video Generator in the All tools section.
From existing designs or generated images:
Select:
Designs to view the designs in your Space.
AI tools and then an AI tool to view the previously generated images.
Select the context menu for a design or generated image.
Select Generate video.
Note: With generated images, you can also select the image and then select Generate video from the final editing steps.
This will take you to the Video Generator. When you exit the Video Generator, you will return to the home page.
Stage 2: Use the Video Generator settings
Use the settings to configure your video:
Drop files or select images (not named if image already selected)
Add up to 4 images to use as a starting point for the video. We recommend 4 images that show the product from different angles.
Template
Photoroom has a variety of templates available, each designed to show your product in use. Choose from the auto-recommended category or select See all to choose from a different category.
Size
Choose the dimensions of the video.
Prompt
Describe what you want in the video. The video is based on your chosen template and uploaded images, so describe any differences you want to see.
When you have made your choices:
Select Generate to create a video. Each generation uses AI credits.
[Optional] Create alternative videos by changing the settings and then selecting Generate.
Stage 3: Download and share your video
When you have a video you are happy with:
Hover over the video to display its context menu.
Use the context menu options:
Delete the video
Download the video as an MP4 file.
Copy link to copy the URL of the video preview to your clipboard. You can then paste it into an email or message to share your video with others.
Good result or Bad result to provide feedback on the quality of the AI video generation.
Select X to exit the Video Generator.
Tip: To download or delete multiple videos, select the checkbox in the top corner for each video (visible when you hover the cursor over a video). Then select Download or Delete from the popup toolbar.
Troubleshooting
If you are having problems creating a suitable video, try:
Generating without using a template (select No template). Use the prompt to describe what you want. For tips, see Write more effective prompts for AI.
To use a only a template or only a prompt, but not a template and prompt at the same time.
Note: The Video Generator will continue to evolve and improve over time.
