Turn multiple photos of clothing on a model or hanger into clean "laid flat" images with Flat Lay. Select your Product Catalog images, activate Flat Lay, and Photoroom will generate ready-to-use images.
For example, in the image, we created flat lay images from photos of t-shirts worn by models.
Availability
Web App only.
Product Catalog requires Max or Ultra plan to export and publish.
Requires AI credits.
Steps (Web App)
To use Flat Lay to show clothing laid flat:
(Video is edited to show faster AI generation times).
Select any of the product's images to open the Product Catalog Editor.
Select the images you want to use. Photoroom will generate a new image for each image you select.

Either:
Select AI Tools and then Flat Lay.
Select More tools on the pill bar above a selected image and then select Flat Lay.
[Optional] Use the Flat Lay settings to describe the changes:
Choose the size of the image.
Choose whether the Brand description should influence the AI.
Use the prompt to describe any other changes you want, for example, specify which clothing item you want to be shown in the flat lay images.
Select Generate.
Generating images costs AI credits.
[Optional] Make additional changes using the Product Catalog Editor. For example, you may want to resize the flat lay images.
When you have finished editing, publish your changes to Shopify.
Note: The Flat Lay settings are the same as those for the standalone Flat Lay tool.
