When editing a batch, use the Position settings to change the padding and alignment of the main objects in your images. There are pre-made settings to choose from or you can set your own custom preferences.

Note: When editing a batch of images, changing the padding and alignment is an optional step.

Steps (Web App)

Use the Position options to set the alignment and padding for your batch of images.

  1. Select the images you want to edit.

To learn more, see How to select images using the Batch feature (Web App).

  2. Select Position.

  3. Choose the position for the main object in your photos:

    • Original - Leaves the position unchanged.

    • Center - Place the main object in the center of the canvas.

    • Custom - Adjust alignment and sizing manually.

If you chose Original, you can ignore the remaining steps.

  4. Control how Photoroom uses padding.

    • Turn Ignore padding on cropped sides on to ignore padding on any images where the content touches the edges of the canvas.

    • Turn Ignore padding on cropped sides off to use padding on all images.

  5. Use the Padding slider to change the amount of padding for each side. The shaded area in the preview is the padding.

  6. Use Align to set the position of the main object in your image. Choose a position from the list.

  7. Use Scale to set the proportions of the content. Scale is only available when Ignore padding on cropped sides is off.

    • Fill - Sizes the content to fill the available space.

    • Fit - Makes the content fit within the available space.
