To edit multiple images at once, you need to create a batch. You can upload a folder of images to a batch or choose individual images. When you have created your batch, you can use the Batch Editor to make changes to some or all of the images.
Steps (Web App)
There are several ways to create a batch of images:
Create a batch by adding individual images
Create a batch by importing a single folder
Create a batch by importing a hierarchy of folders

Create a batch by adding individual images (Web App)
To create a batch that contains images from many different locations:
Log in at app.photoroom.com.
Select the Space you want to work in.
Select Batch.
Select Import images.
Select the individual images you want to include in your batch. You can:
Upload images
Add images from connected storage, such as Google Drive or Dropbox
Pick designs that already exist in the Space
Pick AI-generated images that exist in the Space
Pick images that have been uploaded to Photoroom previously
Pick images from your connected store.
When you have picked all of the images you want to add, select Add images.
Photoroom creates your batch and opens your batch images in the Batch Editor.
You’re now ready to start editing your batch.
Note: Photoroom may remove the backgrounds from your batch images. This depends on whether the Auto-remove background when uploading a new image option is on or off. The option is in the Background settings, see Control background removal for Batch images (Web App).
Create a batch by importing a single folder
To create a batch of images that are imported from a flat, single-level folder:
Log in at app.photoroom.com.
Select the Space you want to work in.
Select Batch.
Select Import folder.
Select the folder that contains the images.
Select Upload.
Photoroom creates your batch and imports the images from the folder.
You’re now ready to start editing your batch.
Note: Photoroom may remove the backgrounds from your batch images. This depends on whether the Auto-remove background when uploading a new image option is on or off. The option is in the Background settings, see Control background removal for Batch images (Web App).
Create a batch by importing a hierarchy of folders
To create a batch of images that are imported from a hierarchy of folders (folders and sub-folders):
Log in at app.photoroom.com.
Select the Space you want to work in.
Select Batch.
Select Import folder.
Select the parent folder (the folder at the top of the hierarchy you want to import).
Select Upload.
Photoroom creates your batch. It imports the images in the parent folder and also the images in its child folders (the sub-folders).
In the Batch editor, Photoroom creates a section for each sub-folder. The images in each sub-folder are added to the appropriate section.
You’re now ready to start editing your batch.
