To use Batch to edit multiple images at once, you first need to upload the images. You can upload individual images or an entire folder.

Availability

Batch is available on all paid plans.

Steps (Web App)

To create a batch of images on the Web App version of Photoroom:

  1. Select the Space you want to work in.

  2. Select Batch.

  3. Import the images you want to use in your batch.

    Use:

    • Import images to select images individually

    • Import folder to add all images from a selected folder on your computer. Photoroom will import images from that folder and any of its sub-folders.

  4. Select Upload.

Your selected images will appear in a grid in the batch editor. You’re now ready to start editing your batch.

Tip: Select the Grid icon to choose different grid sizes.

When you have created a batch of images, use the Batch features to edit them.

Why are backgrounds not removed automatically?

In previous versions, Photoroom would automatically remove the backgrounds of images when adding them to a Batch. This is no longer the case; Photoroom now keeps the original backgrounds so you can choose exactly which images to remove backgrounds from.

To remove the backgrounds:

  1. Select the images in your Batch.

  2. Select Background.

  3. Select Remove original backgrounds.
