The Batch Editor lets you make common changes, such as resizing or changing backgrounds. For other edits, like adding text or graphics, you can open a batch image in the main Photoroom editor.

When you use the main editor for batch images, you can:

Image shows product photos in the main Batch Editor and also a single product being edited in the main editor.

When you use the main editor to make changes, you can:

  • Access features not available in the Batch Editor, such as text tools and layer settings (brightness, saturation, blur, etc).

  • Choose whether your changes apply to all images in the batch or just the one you edited.

Note: When editing individual images, you get the option to apply the changes to all images in the batch. We recommend you read How does Apply to all work? before you start editing.

Steps (Web App)

To use the main Photoroom editor to make changes to one or more images in a batch:

  1. Position the cursor over an image you want to edit and select its context menu ( ... ).

  2. Select Edit.

  3. Use the editor settings to make changes.

The settings work in the same way as on the main editor when you edit a design that's not part of a batch. You can find articles about the features in the help center.

  4. Either:

    • Select < Batch to exit the editor.

    • Select Next to load the next batch image in the editor.

Important! If you select Next and then make changes, it affects how the Apply to all option works. Apply only uses the changes made to the last edited image.

  5. Choose whether your edits should apply to a single image or all images in the batch:

    • Select Apply changes on the notification to apply the changes to all images in the batch.

    • Wait for the notification to close automatically if you only want the changes to apply to the image you edited. Do not select Apply changes.

Note: Apply changes applies the changes made to the most recently edited image to all of the other images. To learn more, see How does "Apply to all" work?

Tip: You can also copy edits from one Batch image and paste them to another. For instructions, see Copy and paste edits using the Batch feature.
