Use Photoroom’s Recolor feature to quickly correct or change colors in your batch images. It’s ideal for matching brand colors, fixing lighting issues, or creating variations, while preserving texture and detail.
Availability
Pro users can use Recolor on individual Batch images.
Max and Ultra users can use Recolor on multiple Batch images at once.
Each generation uses AI credits.
Steps (iOS)
To recolor one or more images in a batch follow the instructions below (split into stages, some are optional). The video below shows all stages.
Stage 1: Access the Recolor tool in Batch
Start a new batch or resume a previous one, see Create a batch of images (iOS).
Select AI Tools.
Select Recolor.
Important: Make sure you select AI Tools > Recolor from inside the Batch editor. If you're outside the Batch editor, the standalone Recolor feature will open instead.
Stage 2: Use the Recolor settings
Use the Recolor settings to give Photoroom instructions:
Select the batch image(s) you want to recolor.
Use the Color selector to choose your target color. It will replace color(s) in the image.
Use the prompt to describe which parts to recolor, for example, "recolor the tshirt".
Choose a Size.
Select the arrow button or Generate image to generate.
Each generation uses AI credits.
Photoroom generates a recolored version of each selected image based on your settings.
Stage 3: Edit your Batch images
The editing steps in this stage are optional.
To turn a Batch image into a template, long press on the image and then select Save as template. You can edit it in the Templates folder for the Space.
To create another copy of a Batch image, long press on the image and select Duplicate.
To delete a Batch image, long press on it and select Delete.
To edit a Batch image in the main editor:
Select the image to open it in the editor.
Use the main editor to make changes, such as adding text or graphics.
Select X to exit the editor and return to the Batch editor.
Choose whether you want to apply your edits to all images or only the image(s) you edited (see How does "Apply recent edits to all" work?).
Stage 4: Export your images
When you are finished editing:
Select Export images.
Photoroom saves the images to your device's camera roll. You can also save them to Files and share them with other people.
Select Close batch to exit the Batch editor.
