Use Photoroom’s Recolor feature to adjust colors in your batch images. It’s a fast way to create consistent colors across multiple images while preserving texture and detail. You can fine-tune colors or completely change them.

Before and after. Before image is a white t-shirt, but looks lilac because of the lighting. Recolor has been used to make the T-shirt white in other images.

This article explains how to use Recolor in Batch on the iOS version of Photoroom. For other platforms, see:

Steps (iOS)

To recolor one or more images in a batch follow the instructions below (split into stages, some are optional). The video below shows all stages.

Stage 1: Access the Recolor tool in Batch

  1. Start a new batch or resume a previous one, see Create a batch of images (iOS).

  2. Select AI Tools.

  3. Select Recolor.

  4. Select the batch image(s) you want to recolor.

Important: Make sure you select AI Tools > Recolor from inside the Batch editor. If you're outside the Batch editor, the standalone Recolor feature will open instead.

Stage 2: Use the Recolor settings

Use the Recolor settings to tell Photoroom what you want to create.

Use to choose your target color. It will replace the color(s) in the image.

  • Quality
Choose the Quality (availability depends on your subscription):

    • Standard
Pro and higher. 1k resolution, simpler but fastest AI model, consumes fewer AI credits than Advanced.

    • Advanced
Max and higher. 2k resolution, better AI model than Standard, consumes more AI credits than Standard, fewer than Premium.

    • Premium
Ultra. 4k+ resolution, best AI model, consumes most AI credits.

  • Size
Choose the aspect ratio for the image.

  • Brand
Choose whether your Brand description (set in the Brand Kit) should influence the AI when it generates your images.

You can edit the brand description if needed. Be aware that any changes you make will affect the brand description across the entire Space.

  • Prompt
Describe the parts you want Photoroom to recolor, for example, "recolor the body and sleeves of the T-shirt".

When you have made your choices:

  1. Select the arrow button to generate images.

  2. [Optional] Change the settings and generate again to make different images.

  • Use the other Batch Editor features to make further changes
