Use AI Scenes in Photoroom for Shopify to show your products in realistic scenes. It generates backgrounds and enhances lighting without making changes to the position, angle, zoom, or aspect ratio of the product.

Availability

  • Pro users can use AI Scenes on individual Shopify product images.

  • Max and Ultra users can use AI Scenes on multiple Shopify product images at once.

  • Photoroom for Shopify requires a Max or Ultra plan to export and publish.​

  • Each generation uses AI credits.

Steps (Web App)

To generate AI Scenes for Shopify images on the Web App:

Stage 1: Access the AI Scenes tool

  1. Open your product catalog and select the product you want to edit.

  2. Select any of the product's images to open the Product Catalog Editor.

  3. Select AI Tools.

  4. Select AI Scenes.

    Alternatively, you can select a product image to display its pill menu. Select More tools and then AI Scenes.
    ​

Stage 2: Use the AI Scenes tool

  1. Enter a description of the scene you want in the Prompt field.

  2. Select the images you want to use. Photoroom will generate a new image for each image you select.

  3. Select Generate.
    Generating images costs AI credits.

Stage 3: Edit your product images

The editing steps in this stage are optional. Some features that use AI to generate an image require AI credits.

You can edit your product images in several ways:

  • Use the Product Catalog Editor options in the side menu

  • Select a product image and use the options available from its pill menu

  • Open an image in the main editor to make edits that are unavailable in the Product Catalog Editor, such as adding text and graphics.

Stage 4: Publish

When you have finished editing:

  1. Use the Shopify sidebar to check the listing score.
    ​
    Follow any recommendations to improve the score, such as adding more images.
    ​

  2. Check the SEO filenames and Alt text for your images.
    ​
    Photoroom generates them automatically, but you can also edit them manually or generate new ones.
    ​

  3. Publish your product images to Shopify.
