You can generate a color palette from the colors in a layer and save it to your Brand Library. Everyone in your Space can then use the same colors in their designs.

Alternatively, you can add colors manually or generate a palette from an image, see Add colors to your Brand Library (Web App).

Note: The Brand Library can have a maximum of 20 color palettes. Each color palette can contain up to 100 colors.

Steps (Web App)

To get Photoroom to automatically generate a color palette based on the colors in a layer of a design:

  1. Select the Space you want to work in.

  2. Select Designs and then double-click a design to open it in the editor.

Note: Alternatively, you could open an image in the Batch editor or open a product image in the Product editor. To learn about these, see the articles in the Related content section at the end.

  3. Select a layer on the design.

  4. Select Save at the top of the layer's settings in the sidebar.

  5. Select Save colors.
Photoroom displays a preview of the color palette.

  6. Select Add palette to Brand Library.
Photoroom adds the color palette to your Brand Library.

  7. Select Brand Library.

Note: If you are working in the Batch editor or Product editor, return to the Home screen and then select Brand Library.

  8. Select the context menu for the new color palette.

  9. Select Rename and enter a name.

  10. Select Rename to confirm.

Your color palette is added to the Brand Library. When you edit a layer that has color settings, the Brand Library colors are available. If only one color palette is shown, select the ellipsis ( ... ) to access the full list of Brand Library color palettes.
