In this article, we provide step-by-step instructions for using an AI Background from your Brand Library in a design.
Important: When you apply an AI Background from your Brand Library, Photoroom reuses the prompt, not the image. It generates a new background from that prompt, so the lighting and colors match your foreground layers and the result looks realistic.
Before you start
You can only apply an AI Background from your Brand Library if your Brand Library contains one. To add an AI Background to the Brand Library, see Save an AI Background to your Brand Library (Web App).
Steps (Web App)
To use an AI Background from your Brand Library in a design:
Log in at app.photoroom.com.
Select Designs and double-click the design you want to edit.
Note: Alternatively, you could Create a new design and open it in the editor.
Select Backgrounds.
Select AI Backgrounds.
Pick an AI Background from the From Brand Library section (select the See all option to see more AI Backgrounds in the Brand Library).
Select your preferred version of the AI Background.
Photoroom applies it to your design.
Note: To generate more options, select Generate 2 more.
[Optional] Use the editor to make further changes, such as adding AI Shadows for extra realism or adding text.
[Optional] Select Download to download your design as an image file.
Select Home to save your design and exit the editor.
