In this article, we provide step-by-step instructions for using an AI Background from your Brand Library in a design.
Important: When you apply an AI Background from your Brand Library, Photoroom reuses the prompt, not the image. It generates a new background from that prompt, so the lighting and colors match your foreground layers and the result looks realistic.
Before you start
If your Brand Library does not contain an AI Background, you will need to add one. For details, see Save an AI Background to your Brand Library (iOS).
Steps (iOS)
To use an AI Background from your Brand Library in a design:
Select the Space you want to work in.
Select Content.
Select the design you want to change. Photoroom opens it in the editor.
Note: Alternatively, you could Create a new design and open it in the editor.
Select Backgrounds.
Pick a background from the Space's Brand Library section.
If you pick a regular background, Photoroom will apply it to your design as is.
If you pick an AI Background, Photoroom generates two images. You can see the reused prompt in the prompt field.
Select the image you want to use.
Alternatively, use the prompt, background, and arrow button to generate more images to choose from. You can also change the AI model at the top. For details, see How to use AI Backgrounds.
Select Use image.
[Optional] Use the editor to make further changes, such as adding shadows for extra realism, or adding text.
Select Save to save your design as an image file.
Select Close design to exit the editor.
