If you have one or more Batch images that are too dark, you can enhance them by using the Improve lighting feature.

Improve lighting is not a Batch feature, so you need to edit an individual image to access it:

  1. Create a Batch.
    For instructions, see:

  2. Open an image in the editor.

    • On iOS or Android: select the image to open it in the editor.

    • On Web App: Select the context menu for the image and then select Edit.

  3. Select a foreground layer to reveal the layer settings.

  4. Turn Improve lighting on.

Image shows Improve lighting turned on on mobile and Light on turned on on the Web App.

Note: On the Web App, Improve lighting is called Light on.

  5. Exit the editor.

  6. [Optional] Select Apply to all to improve the lighting on all of the batch images.

  7. Export the images:

    • iOS and Android: Select Export images.

    • Web App: Select Download, enter a filename and select the image file format.

Note: Batch is designed for exporting images. It does not save the images as designs in Photoroom. If you need them as designs, import them individually as new images ( see Save Batch images to a Space).
