Convert a collection of dull and gloomy photos into eye-catching, well-lit images with Photoroom's Batch and Improve lighting features.
Use Batch to make a collection of photos that can all be edited at the same time.
Use Improve lighting to enhance the lighting in all of the images at once.

Availability
Paid plans only (Pro, Max, Ultra) as Batch is only available on those plans.
On iPhone and iPad
To improve the lighting on a batch of images:
Select the Space you want to work in.
Select Batch.
Select Start Batch.
Alternatively, select the Resume <number> image batch link to continue working with the previous batch. You can ignore step 4 and skip forward to step 5.
Select the images you want to include in your batch and then select the checkmark or Add images to confirm.
Photoroom automatically removes the backgrounds from your images. To restore them, select the Original image template on the Template tab.
Alternatively, you can select one of the other templates or edit an image and apply a background, see Edit multiple photos with the Batch feature (iOS and Android).
Select an image to open it in the editor.
Select the main object on the image to display its settings.
Turn the Improve lighting option on.
Select X to exit the editor.
Select Apply to all to turn Improve lighting on for all of the images in the batch.
Select Export images to download the improved images.
You can now use the exported images in other applications.
Note: Batch is designed for exporting images. It does not save the images as designs in Photoroom. If you need them as designs, import them individually as new images ( see Save Batch images to a Space).
On Android
To improve the lighting on a batch of images:
Select the Space you want to work in.
Select Batch.
Select Start Batch.

On Web App
To improve the lighting on multiple images:
Log in at app.photoroom.com.
Select the Space you want to work in.
Select Batch.
Either:
Select Import images and select individual image files to upload.
Select Import folder and select a folder of image files to upload.
Select Upload.
Photoroom adds the images to your batch and removes their backgrounds automatically.
[Optional] Set the images to keep their original backgrounds:
Select the images that should keep their original backgrounds. Press Ctrl (Windows) or Cmd (Mac) and select the images you want.

Select Background.
Turn Remove original backgrounds off.
Double-click on an image to open it in the main editor.
Select the foreground layer.
Turn on the Light on feature to make the foreground layer much brighter.
Select < Batch to exit the editor.
Select Apply changes to activate Light on on the other selected images in the batch.
Select Download images. Enter a name for the download file and select an image file type. You can choose from PNG, JPEG, WEBP, or set it to AUTO to have Photoroom select an appropriate format automatically.
You can now use the exported images in other applications.
