Create a Team workspace in Photoroom

Learn how to create a Team workspace, where you can share your content with your colleagues

You can create a Team workspace so that you easily share your content with your teammates. You’ll be able to switch from your own personal workspace to your Team workspace at any time.

Note: If you upgrade your Team from mobile, the rest of the team will still be limited to the free version (except if a Team member already has a Pro subscription)

If you upgrade your Team from the web, the rest of the team will be Pro and you will be charged each additional seat (except for the first one as that is free).


On iPhone, iPad, and Android

The steps for creating a Team are similar on iOS and Android.

  1. On the Create page, select Your Content.

  2. Select your Personal Space at the top and then select Add Team.

  3. Select Create a Team on the pop-up.

  4. Enter a name for your team and select Continue.

  5. Select Share an invite link.

  6. Now you need to send the invite link to your colleagues. Either:

    1. Copy the URL so that you can paste it into an email or message.

    2. Select an email service to create a new email with the link inside it

    3. Share the link with nearby devices.

  7. Select Continue and then Continue to Your Team.

When you create a Team, Photoroom shows your Team workspace automatically. To switch to another workspace, select the arrow next to the workspace name and then choose from the list.

Your Content page is set to show the view for the recently created Team.
By clicking the arrow next to the team name, you can display a menu for switching to other teams or your personal space.

When a colleague receives the invite you sent to them, they can follow the link and join the Team.


On Web App

You can use the Web App to create a Team workspace:

  1. Log in to the Web App

  2. Select Create Team in the sidebar.

  3. Select Create a Team on the pop-up.

  4. Enter a name for your team.

  5. Select Copy to copy the invite link to your computer's clipboard. You will need to send the invite link to your colleagues so that they can join the team.

  6. Select Continue and then Let's Go!

  7. Enter a description for your team (optional).

  8. Select Save.

  9. Send the copied invite link to the colleagues that you would like to have access to your Team workspace.

When a colleague receives the invite you sent to them, they can follow the link and join the Team.
