You can move a design from one workspace to a different workspace. For example, you could move a design from a "Marketing" team into a "Product" team. This is especially useful if you have accidentally created a design in your personal workspace when you intended to create it in a team workspace.
On iPhone and iPad
There are two ways to move a design from one workspace to another workspace on the iPhone and iPad versions of Photoroom.
Use Move to Team. This is available from the design's dotted menu ( ... ).
Export the design to a different workspace. For this, you'll need the new export design, which is being rolled out gradually to iOS users. If you don't see it yet, it is coming soon.
Use Move to Team
To use Move to Team on the iPhone and iPad version of Photoroom:
(Video shows Photoroom on iPhone)
Select Content.
Select the workspace that contains the design you want to move.
Select the dotted menu ( ... ) for the design you want to move.
Select Move to Team.
Choose the team that will receive the moved design.
Note: If the menu does not close automatically, select Cancel. The design will move as long as you selected a different team in step 5.
To check that the design has moved, select Content and switch to the team workspace that should have received the design. Look in the Team Designs section (or Your Designs if you moved the design to a personal workspace).
Note: The move feature removes a design from one workspace and stores it in another. It does not copy a design from one workspace to another.
Export the design to another workspace
If your version of Photoroom has the new Export user interface, you can move a design by exporting it to another workspace:
Select Content.
Select the workspace that contains the design you want to move.
Select the design so that it opens in the editor.
Select Export.
Select the Saved to <name of workspace> option that shows which workspace the design is currently saved in.
Choose the team that will be the new location for the design.
Select < Back.
Select X to exit the editor. The design should now be shown in the workspace you selected in step 6.
To check that the design has moved, select Content and switch to the team workspace that should have received the design. Look in the Team Designs section (or Your Designs if you moved the design to a personal workspace).
Note: Saving a design to another workspace only moves the design from one workspace to another. It does not copy a design from one workspace to another.
