Font size and spacing

Learn how to change the size and spacing of the text on your PhotoRoom designs

With Photoroom's text editing features, you can quickly change the size and spacing of the text on your designs. For example, you might want to make your text larger with more space between each letter.

For instructions, select the link for your device:


On iPhone, iPad, and Android devices

To edit the font on Photoroom for iPhone, iPad, or Android:

  1. On the Create page, select Your Content and then select the image you want to edit. Alternatively, you can create a new design and add text to it.

  2. Select the text layer in your design.

  3. Either:

    • Use gestures to resize the text box. Photoroom resizes the font automatically.

    • Open the Look settings and then select Size and use the slider to change the font size.

  4. To change the font spacing, open the Look settings and then:

    • Select Line height and use the slider to change the amount of vertical space between each line of text.

    • Select Letter spacing and use the slider to change the amount of horizontal space between each letter.

  5. Select Done.

  6. Select the Export icon in the top-right corner to save your changes.


On Web App

To edit the font on the desktop Web App version of Photoroom:

  1. On the Create page, select Designs and then select the image you want to edit. Alternatively, you can create a new design and add text to it.

  2. Select the text layer in your design.

  3. Either:

    • Use the handles to resize the text box. Photoroom resizes the font automatically.

    • Open the Transform settings and use the Size slider to change the font size.

  4. To change the font spacing, open the Transform settings and then:

    • Use the Line height slider to change the amount of vertical space between each line of text.

    • Use the Letter spacing slider to change the amount of horizontal space between each letter.

  5. Select Download to download a local copy and also save your changes.

  6. Select Home.
