Want to add stylish shadow effects to your designs? The AI Shadows feature is exactly what you need. It adds realistic shadows based on the lighting and the position of the objects in your design.

Here's a simple example of a chair photo without a shadow and the same photo with an AI shadow to create a floating effect.

side-by-side images. First image shows an orange chair, white background, no shadow. Second image shows same chair but it has a dark shadow below its legs, creating a hovering effect.

AI Shadows gives you quick, realistic shadows and there are three different shadow types to choose from (Soft, Hard, Floating). Also, if you move the main subject in your design, the AI will redraw the shadow so that it still looks realistic.

If you need to have more control over where your shadow appears and how far it extends, consider using the regular Shadow feature for the layer instead (see Add shadows to your designs).
