When you are editing your designs, you may find that you want to move an object in front of, or behind, another object. You can do this quickly in Photoroom by moving the layers in your design.

On iPhone and iPad
To change the order of layers in a Photoroom design on iPhone or iPad:

On the Create page, select Your Content and then select the design you want to edit. Alternatively, you could create a new design with multiple layers and then edit that.
Select Layers.
Select and hold a layer that you want to move.
Either:
Drag the layer upwards in the list to move it above other layers into the foreground.
Drag the layer downwards in the list to move it below other layers, towards the background.
Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you have arranged the layers into the order you want.
Select Export and use the options to save or share your design.
Note: An alternative way is to select the layer to reveal its settings. Then select Front to move the layer one level up (towards the foreground) or Back to move it one layer down (towards the background).
On Android
To change the order of layers in a Photoroom design on Android:

On the Create page, select Designs in the Your Content section. Then select the design you want to edit. Alternatively, you could create a new design with multiple layers and then edit that.
Select the Layers option.
Select and hold the right edge of the layer you want to move. You can move any layer except the background layer.
Either:
Drag the layer upwards in the list to move it above other layers into the foreground.
Drag the layer downwards in the list to move it below other layers, towards the background.
Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you have arranged the layers into the order you want.
Select Download to save your design and download a local copy.
