Photoroom has many different blur effects that you can use to alter a background so that it is softer, out of focus, and obscured. They are useful for hiding details and creating different moods.
To apply blur effects to the background layer (or any other layer), open your design in the editor, select the layer, and then use the Blur options. For detailed instructions, see Blur a layer.
