You can add a background from a design to your brand kit. Once a background is in your brand kit, you and your team can use that background on many different designs.

Two phones side-by-side. The left phone shows a design in Photoroom with a patterned background. The background layer is selected, revealing a Save background to Brand kit option. The right phone shows a different design with a background being added. The options include the ability to add a background from the brand kit.

Important note on AI Backgrounds

If you save an AI Background to your brand kit, it remains an AI Background. If you insert it on other designs, it will automatically change to suit the other layers in those designs.

If you want to use an AI Background that does not change, duplicate the design that contains the AI background. Then remove the other layers so that the design only contains the AI background. Export that design as an image file and then import it back into Photoroom as a regular image, just like you would a photo. At that stage, it is a regular background that you can save to your brand kit (see instructions in this article). It will remain the same wherever it is used.
