Do you want to use the same background on many of your designs? Then add the background to the brand kit for your workspace. You can then add the background to as many designs as you like. Other members of your workspace can use the background in their designs too!
The brand kit supports regular images as backgrounds and also AI backgrounds.
With AI backgrounds, they keep their "smart" features. So when you insert an AI background from the brand kit, it is still an AI background and will redraw itself when you move foreground objects. Very clever!
Note: Brand kit is currently available on iPhone, iPad, and the Web App (desktop) versions of Photoroom. It is coming soon to Android.
On iPhone and iPad
To add a background to your brand kit on the iPhone or iPad version of Photoroom:
On the Create page, select Your Content.
Select the workspace that you want to work in.
Select a design that has a background you want to add to your brand kit.
Select Layers.
Select the background layer.
Scroll down and select Save background to Brand kit.
Photoroom stores the background in your brand kit. You can insert it into other designs by creating or opening a design, and then selecting Backgrounds. Select the Image option and the brand kit backgrounds are listed along with other background options. For more details, see Use brand kit content in your design .
On Web App
To add a background to your brand kit on the web app (desktop) version of Photoroom:
Log in to Photoroom at app.photoroom.com.
Select the workspace that you want to work in.
In the Designs section, select the design that has the background you want to add to your brand kit.
Select the background layer.
Select the plus icon + in the Brand kit section to add the background to the brand kit.
Select Home to save the design and return to the homepage.
You now have the background saved in your brand kit for this workspace. It is available to every member of this workspace to use in their designs.
You can also see the background in your brand kit by selecting Brand kit on the homepage. There is a backgrounds section.
To use a background from the brand kit in a design, edit a design, select Backgrounds and then Image. Choose the background from the Brand kit in the sidebar. For more details, see Use brand kit content in your design .
