When you upload a photo to the Web App, Photoroom automatically removes the background. To restore it, you can:
Apply the Original template
This restores the background on the background layer while keeping the main subject on a separate foreground layer. This gives you more editing flexibility. For details, see Keep the original background of your photo.
Toggle Remove background on the foreground layer
Turn Remove background off to bring back the full original photo on a single foreground layer, leaving an empty background layer.

On Web App
To use Remove background to restore or erase the background:
Log in at app.photoroom.com.
Select the Space you want to work in.
Select Create.
Click on Select photos and choose a photo to upload.
Select the foreground layer to display the layer settings in the side panel.
Either:
Turn Remove background off to restore the background to the foreground layer.
Turn Remove background on to remove the background from the foreground layer.
[Optional] Use the editing features to change the image as required. For example, to add text or shapes or to change the color.

[Optional] Select Download to download your design as an image file in the browser. Enter a name for the download folder, choose an image file format, and then select Download to confirm.
Select the Home button to save your design and exit the editor.
