You can create a video from an existing design using Photoroom’s Video Generator. This converts your design into a short animated video, ideal for social media posts, product demos, and marketing visuals.

Steps (Web App)
To create a video from a photo that you upload to Photoroom:

Log in at app.photoroom.com.
Select the Max or Ultra Space you want to work in.
Select AI Tools.
Select Video generator.
Use the Drop a file or select an image box to upload an image.
Choose an option:
Select a template to start with preset layouts, models, and camera directions. For best results, choose a template from the automatically selected category.
Select No template to create a video from scratch, using only a prompt.
Choose the Size of the video:
Square
Portrait (9:16)
Landscape (16:9)
[Optional] Use the prompt field to describe the video you want to generate, including the scene, lighting, background, and subject details such as facial expression or mood.
Select Generate video.
Note: Video generation costs AI credits.
Wait for Photoroom to generate the animation. It can take a few minutes. When it is finished, the video will appear.
Position the cursor over the video, select it's context menu ( ... ) and then select Download. The browser downloads your video file, usually to your Downloads folder.
Note: On the Web App, generated videos are not saved in Photoroom. You should download them to keep your own copy.
[Optional] Repeat steps 5 to 11 to generate alternative videos.
Select X to exit the video generator.
You can use the video file that was downloaded to your device in other applications. The video is NOT saved in the Space where it was created.
Troubleshooting
If you are having problems creating a suitable video, try:
Not using a template (select Skip template instead) and then use the prompt to describe what you want. For tips, see Write more effective prompts for AI.
Using a template only or a prompt only, but not the two combined.
Note: The Video Generator will continue to evolve and improve over time.
