When you create a design, Photoroom removes the background of your image automatically. There is also a Background Remover tool that does the same job and you can access it from the AI Tools menu.

On iPhone and iPad
To use the Background Remover tool:
Select the Space you want to work in.
Select AI Tools.
Select Background Remover.
Upload a photo.
Photoroom removes the photo's background automatically.
Select a pre-made template from one of the collections. Each template provides a background, and in some cases, additional layers for your design.
Note: Alternatively, you can select a Recommended edit to use one of the other AI Tools to work on your image. You can also use Edit with AI to make changes to your image by using a prompt.
[Optional] Use the editor to make further changes to your design. For example, you can add text, graphics, shadows, and choose a different background.
Select Save to download your design to your device as an image file. Your design is also saved in Photoroom and there are options to share the design too.
